Screening allergological examination is the initial level of diagnostics in allergology. According to the results of the study, one can judge the degree of sensitivity (sensitization) of a person to the main inhalation fungal allergens. The most common fungal allergens are Aspergillus fumigatus, Alternaria tenuis, Cladosporium herbarum, Penicillium notatum. Screening does not identify a specific allergen, but determines the total level of specific IgE, i.e. allows you to focus further testing on a specific group of allergens to which there is a sensitivity, for further targeted testing for specific allergens.
Purpose of the study.
- Diagnostics of allergic diseases (detection of sensitization to allergens in bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis, hay fever, etc.)
Reference values: 100.0 - class VI- extremely high concentration of antibodies.
